OO9 NGG16

Color schemes

The NGG16 can run in in a fantastic number of different color schemes. Some in the nerar future I'll have to decide in which livery it will sit in my display. Take a look and pick your own favorite

SAR Standard

The standard SAR color scheme, common to most of the series and for most of their lives, is rather dull, that is: black.
Highly practical for a steamer but that's just it. Here no 143 is seen in Rhyd-Ddu station, so already in Wales, 31 August, 2004

Alfred County Railway

Some locos were sold to the ACR and from 1988 they served in revenue eraning serves there. No 88 is seen here on April 2, 1998 in port Shepstone in a livery very similar to the standard Dutch Railways steam loco scheme: black, dark green with black lining and brass polished details
